  • For the DLMF8006 that cylinder had a bolt and nut exposed on one end is that bolt adjustable to tighten the compression of the spring inside the cylinder? Or is the preset and not adjustable.

    The DLMF8006 is just a holdown housing for a Multi-Fab replacement holdown, typically only ordered if you are replacing an existing MFP DLMF8000 (AR) or DLMF8000ARL.

     
    Just the housing should NOT be tampered with as there is a compressed float spring inside, the entire holdown should be replaced.
